Happy New... Kylie

She's back! Just when you thought you'd be spending a hot-pant-less New Year's Eve drinking crap wine and hugging complete strangers, Kylie announces a NYE gig.
Why shiver on the banks of the Thames to see a 'blink and you'll miss it' fireworks display when you can getup close and personal with Kylie fans at Wembley Arena? The glitter encrusted, feather boa endowed girls and boys will be out in force; and with the pint-sized princess on the brain.
Chances are, the people who bought tickets to the first Showgirl gig will be a tad peeved they won't be there for the first. But, knowing die hard Kylie fans like I do (it's an Aussie thing) they'll kick their heels up and go twice.
At least the macho men of the world can rest assured that they won't have to put up with a nagging girlfriend on NYE. She'll be doing the locomotion somewhere else. See, Kylie is not only superwoman; she's also a relationship saver.
Unfortunately for the Kylie fan in me, I'll be at a wedding on NYE. I'll still have the swirling dresses, champas, cheesy tunes and flashing lights... but Loughborough wedding venues sure ain't Wembley. Sigh.
Speaking of camp factors, The Scissor Sisters have announced a set of new UK dates Scissor Sisters have announced details of three UK shows - hot on the tail of their European tour in April.
The Millennium Dome better prepare itself for a complete flamboyant overhaul. So many great gigs, just not enough time... the social diary better prepare itself for a flogging.
