NEWS: Robbie hits rehab

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..."
Poor old Robbie Williams has been looking a bit haggard of late but as he celebrated his thirty-third birthday in rehab yesterday he could hardly blame age. Come on... the thirties are hardly 'old'.
Something that can take the blame is his addiction to prescription drugs. It seems that life in the pop world fast lane isn't all screaming fans and money. Robbie has been treated for drink and drug addiction in the past and it looks like anti depressants are his latest demon.
It's not good timing (blowing out candle's in rehab never is) and in the lead up to tonight's Brit Awards it's an even nastier blow to his career. Reviews for his latest album, Rudebox have been mixed and the success of reformed band Take That can hardly be music to his ears.
As the Take That lads polish their moves for tonight's Brit Awards (trust me Robbie, I'd count your lucky stars you don't have to compete with that... have you seen their latest get-ups?) Williams must be thinking about his collection of past awards. One has to wonder... when those rehab doors slam, is it really all worth it?
