They came, they saw and they threw themselves at the feet of Lemar! Okay, so our competition winners Karen and her daughter may not have kissed the soul God's feet... but they did meet him backstage. Some people have all the luck!
We were gob smacked when we received this pic... so much so that we had to share it with you. One thing's for sure, Karen is one hell of a mum. Would your mum enter a comp on your behalf? If ours did we'd end up seeing ol' Rod Stewart.
Here's what Karen had to say...
"Excellent concert, Lemar seems to be going from strength to strength, and deservedly so. He gave a great performance, with a good range of songs from the current album as well as past hits, and added a couple of covers for good measure. Band and backing vocals were brilliant also.We were surprised at the age range of the audience, but whatever their ages, he certainly delivered the goods - the whole place was up and dancing. Only criticism would be that one of the support acts - Indiana Gregg was dull and totally off the mark in terms of pleasing the audience that would go to see Lemar."
Congratulations guys and well done on the backstage action. A little birdie tells us Karen's daughter went again with a mate. Now that's true fan behaviour.
Have you met someone famous? We want to hear about it. Send your pics and stories through to us at blogs@seatwave.com

I'd agree with the Lemar concert being fab... but, I thought that Indiana Gregg was absolutely amazing live and we were all bowled over by her performance. It was really a great night!

This was the secound time I had seen Indiana Gregg supporting a major act and both times she was excellent.
Had to be the best support act to get the crowd up off there seats ready for Lemar.
Great audiance participation envolving us in her songs. One to watch, her album Woman at Work is a real summer find.

Lemars tour was fab, but so was indiana greggs set... shes got some really uplifting songs and was a very worthwhile support act - we enjoyed seeing her perform 5 times on tour with lemar :)
