MOCKY
IN THE MEANTIME
FEAT. JAMIE LIDELL
Summer is coming - and with it, every music buff needs a summer soundtrack. One of the contenders in my top list of tunes is In The Meantime by Canadian smooth-crooner Mocky. The track features the silky vocals of Soul master Jamie Lidell but is anything but soft. I challenge your limbs not to move to the mix of HipHop infused bass and subtle guitar. Go on - turn it up and try it.
It's funky, it's smooth, and both men's voices go together like strawberries and cream. Yep, now we're talking summer vibes. Pack this one in your picnic basket when you hit the summer sun-kissed streets. Just don't forget the bubbly (or your portable sound system!). A top tune.
