THE GREAT BRITISH MOAN
Released May 7th - Download only

"A lot of thing's are really pissing me off on a daily basis"

Join the club MC Wrec. I'm frequently pretty miffed too.

MC Wrec's latest single makes me laugh - ironic really, because it's a three-minute barrage of complaints about life. Ironic is the key word here - we all know the English are renowned for their moaning; MC Wrec just takes it one step further. Luckily, a catchy beat and lashings of humour make it the type of tune you can stick on repeat and get something new out of every time.

At 27 years of age, Brighton lad Jon Bailey (aka MC Wrec) has only just begun what looks set to be a lifetime in the music industry. His time as front man of London Elektricity and his reputation as an entrepreneur has left and impressive footprint on the music-based business world. But… I'm here to talk about the single, not his career - and as far as footprints go, this is a big 'un.

"I don't like it when men swim in speedos" - me neither.
"I don't like bimbos" - I'm with you.
"I don't like midday TV" - hmmm... does Oprah count?

MC Wrec's list of things that piss him off is extensive. It's light-hearted but the lyrics are like an intricately woven masterpiece. They're delivered hard and fast but articulated to a tee - you won't miss a single tongue-spun treat. This'll be a guaranteed crowd rouser at festivals and other live performances - get snappy though, if you want to learn the words, it's available from May 7th - but you'll have to hit itunes - it's a download only job.

If you take the lyrics to heart, he doesn't like much - but I've got a spanner to throw in the works... I love this tune and it looks like the world will too. Like it or lump it mate. Somehow, I think I know the answer.
