War Child Music Presents:
Army Of You
Koko - Thrursday 24th May, 2007
We saw them blow the stuffing out of Brighton' Great Escape Festival over the weekend, now the Noisettes hit Koko in Camden for tonight's charity gig. They're joined by a line-up worth drooling over... wipe that sloppy chin and prepare to rock:
Metronomy
These New Puritans
Late Of The Pier
Friendly Fires
Video Nasties
Simian Mobile Disco (DJ)
Filthy Dukes (DJ)
Kissy Sellout (DJ)
Punks Jump Up (DJ)
The Rakes (DJ)
It all kicks of at 7.00pm but get there early to secure a prime spot under that big Koko mirror ball. It's a tenner and all net proceeds from the night go to the charity War Child. Are you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside? You should... the dosh will fund projects for street children, child soldiers and children in adult prisons. We're talking Iraq, Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Northern Uganda.

Our tip? Make the most of this gut wrenchingly sunny weather, grab a shandy by Camden lock and then dawdle towards Mornington Crescent as the sun goes down. THIS, people is what Thursdays are supposed to be about.
