Prince Fatty : Milk And Honey
Mr. Bongo Records released 18 June
Review by Peter Coulston
Prince Fatty is a group put together by Mike Pelaconi, producer of Lily Allens hit Alright Still and the sound is 70s Reggae, plain and simple. There are only three tracks on this record so it is not really an album. The title track is featured in straight reggae style with Hollie Cook of The Slits on vocals. It is followed by a dub version which is in turn followed by Fat Panther, an instrumental with a two note riff. Great stuff if you love reggae, but dont expect anything too complicated.
