Okay, so you missed out on the real thing... does anyone know ANYONE who bagged a ticket? I gave up trying when my mates didn't get their act together on the photo registration front. Imagine the surprise then, when a friend invited me to join her for free.
Okay, so there's a catch. An actual Glastonbury experience is never going to be free (or easy)... but there isn't much effort involved in watching an outdoor screening of 'Glastonbury' - the movie.
Each year, The Scoop at More London hosts free screenings. This year is no exception. And Glasto is featured in the line-up. You don't have to pitch a tent or battle with porta-loos... just head down to the Riverside, gorge on picnic food and watch the credits roll. Unlike the real thing, there's no need to book. Films kick off between 9.30 and 10.00pm so there's even time for a post work pint beforehand.
You can see Glastonbury on 15th June. All other movies are listed below... I'll be first in line for Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. There's nothing like a camping out for a camp evening by the river.
