SECRET GIG: Ash in London

Camden is apparently the place to be these days. Music-world's 'celebs' can be seen stumbling out of Gilgamesh, The Hawley Arms and the Proud Gallery every night of the week. The streets are full of piercings and colourful characters and the streets are lined with venues. Name your music taste and there's something for you. The riverside food stalls alone are worth a North London rendezvous...
But I digress, there's an even better reason to hit North London this week - Irish boys, Ash are set to play a not-so-secret London show this Friday (June 8th). All in the aid of an Isle Of Wight Festival warm up.
The gig, at the Proud Gallery is part of Year Zero Club's 'secret season' of gigs. The Films and Goldspot will support Ash. It's well worth a look... check out myspace.com/yearzeroclub for information. Or, you could always just head to the Isle Of Wight Festival - on Saturday night.
There's bound to be a few big names and big hair styles in the crowd...
