Editors are most certainly one of England’s finest indie bands. Their music is tinged with the beautiful melancholy that is reminiscent of the amazing Joy Division along with crunching guitars and jangling melodies. They have also been compared to the likes of the Arcade Fire, Interpol and Echo and The Bunnymen. Lead vocalist Tom Smith has a haunting voice that sprawls itself over their music like a summer breeze.
Editors were nominated for the Mercury Prize in 2006 and are undoubtedly set for many more awards.
You’re in luck because we have two tickets to give away for Editors at Brixton Academy on the 8th October. All you need to do is answer the following question:

the artic monkeys. I saw them at Glastonbury and they were fantastic. I have all their albums. fingers crossed!
