We love a good freebie (go on, you use the free perfume from Selfridges too). So, here's a night of entertainment that'll cost you nada. If you're lucky - and make it snappy.
Shack Play Q The Music Club
Shack, the acclaimed Scouse collective much beloved of Noel Gallagher, will play an exclusive acoustic show at Qs monthly live music night Q The Music Club Live At The Hospital on Thursday, 18 October.
Formed in 1988 from the ashes of Pale Fountains by songwriting brothers Michael (vocals, guitar) and John (guitar, vocals) Head, Shack have released a string of excellent albums steeped in 60s psychedelia and quality tunes. Last years The Corner Of Miles And Gil was among Qs Albums Of The Year. A retrospective best of, Time Machine, is out on 24th September. Clips of all the tracks featuring on the album can be heard here: http://www.shacktheband.com/jukebox/
Tickets for the show are free and will be issued on a strictly first come, first served basis to those who register for a pair. Details on how to register can be found on the bands official site www.shacktheband.com
The Hospital is located on Endell Street in Londons Covent Garden. Doors will open at 7.30pm, with Shack due onstage at 8pm.
