Kaiser Chiefs - secret gig

What's the big deal about Blackpool? There must be something enticing about the joint... hell, it even has a BBC drama named after it. I'm told the UK beachside town has a nice light display every now and again... but there still hasn't been enough to lure me there. Until now.
Like most people, I'll go to the ends of the earth for a free gig - including Blackpool. Its obviously good enough for the Kaiser Chiefs and the folk at Vodafone. The band heads to Blackpool on September 9th to play an exclusive performance to a handful of fans as part of the 2007 Vodafone TBA series of secret, free gigs. It must be about time for the Vodafone Live Music Awards... what? It is? How about that.
Fans will have the opportunity to win exclusive tickets by logging onto www.vodafone.co.uk/music as with the all the Vodafone TBA gigs, the venue wont be revealed until the day. When they do... I certainly 'Predict A Riot'. Those who arent lucky enough to score tickets will be able to watch the live performance at home on T4 on Sunday 9th September at 2pm.
Kaiser Chiefs go head to head for Best Live Act at the Vodafone Live Music Awards against Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Muse. Voting is open to the public at www.vodafone.co.uk/music or text BAND to 61500.
This year the awards will take place on September 19 in London and will bring together the music business and fans to celebrate the booming UK live music scene. The awards shortlist has drawn up by music industry insiders, fans are able to select the eventual winners via text and email.
Hop to it... with competition such as Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Muse, the Kaiser Chiefs may need all the help they can get.
