Just Jack released his first album The Outer Marker in 2002 but only reach the dizzying heights of fame in 2007 after his TV debut on BBC2's Later with Jools Holland, and then on the The Friday Night Project, where he performed the single Starz In Their Eyes which is a jumpy, pop track with a message about fame. He released his second album, Overtones that same year.
Just Jack makes upbeat, danceable pop records that are covered in talky/singing vocals that express more than just an empty lyric. Sometimes he teeters towards a vague disco-esque vibes and at others, tumbles into small rappy verses and hip hop.
If you are hooked on Just Jack, then feast your eyes on this. We are giving away two tickets for the Just Jack gig at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on 16th October. All you need to do is answer the following question and the tickets could be yours.
