New Single ‘Clumsy’ - Fergie

The sensational Fergie releases her infectious new single Clumsy - the fourth track to be taken from her massive album ‘The Dutchess’ - on November 12th. You can’t really imagine Fergie acting clumsy though can you – slippin’ and tumblin’ in her Jimmy Choos and Gucci pants? Oh well, it is a entertaining thought…
Clumsy uses a sample from ‘The Girl Can’t Help It’ as performed by Boogie Woogie Blues Legend Little Richard. Clumsy has been produced by the multi-talented Will.I.Am (Black Eyed Peas) and was written by Fergie and Bobby Troup.
Clumsy is a slow yet seductive Fergie track. There is far less bass than your average Fergie release, but it is still damn catchy – you will find yourself singing it at the most inappropriate times and humming ‘you got me slippin, tumbling…’
2007 has been a pretty great year for Fergie. In September she won
‘Female Artist Of The Year’ at the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. More news followed from the US as Fergie celebrated becoming the first female artist this decade to send her first four solo singles into the top five of the Top 40 chart.
Fergie is currently on a massive 30 date world tour with the Black Eyed Peas, which will see them perform in five different continents, ending up in Sydney, Australia on October 30th.
Clumsy is out on November 12th.
