Get on stage with Rufus Wainwright!

Are you Going To A Town to see Rufus Wainwright? Have you ever wondered what it is like being on stage, under the glare of the spotlight with hundreds of expectant faces staring back at you? Well, now is your chance to find out.
For each night of the Rufus Wainwright UK & European tour, Rufus will select a special guest to perform the spoken word part from Between My Legs. You have the chance to join the list of guests, alongside Dawn French, Sian Philips, Kate McGarrigle, Frances de la Tour, Jorn and Jake Gyllenhaal, who have all performed with Rufus. It would be interesting to see some other guests up there too – perhaps Terry Wogan or maybe Anne Widdicombe, although – I suppose they are not quite as glamorous Jake Gyllenhaal and Frances de la Tour and I'm not sure that I am keen to know what goes on between Widdicombe's legs. Maybe Kate Moss would be more fitting, from Babyshambles to Rufus Wainwright…
All you need to do is go to You Tube’s Rufus Wainwright Tour Auditions and post your best rendition of the spoken word part (only!) in 60 seconds or less and you could perform with Rufus in your town!
You must already have a ticket to the show. If you haven't, then grab your tickets here.Entries must be posted no less than five days prior to the show. No band members or their families are eligible.
In order to be considered for this contest you must send your full name, email address, name of your YouTube video (think of a unique name!) link to the video, and which show you will be attending to: releasethestars2@gmail.com.
