Saturday 8th December sees our last ever party at the soul infused, disco floored venue of residency, The Key, before it sadly shuts down at the end of the year. The Key is the place where Need2Soul found its home and came alive. Two years of parties have seen many of house music's leading figures grace the Key's booth, including Moodymann, Kerri Chandler, Theo Parrish, DJ Deep, Glenn Underground, Ame, Mr V, Osunlade & Ron Trent to name just a few. To cast a customary ‘smash’ farewell party, a stellar line-up has been carefully put together to make this a proper send-off.

In room 1, www.joeclaussell.net/">Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell, a constant and revered influence in the house scene, will be headlining. Dance music keeps its eclectic, raw nature when Joe plays, transporting his passion and soul through every single person on the dance floor. Raised in Brooklyn N.Y.C, at the beginning of his infamous musical journey he dedicated himself to the New York dance scene by buying for and playing records at ‘Dance Tracks’, a renowned East village music shop. Later becoming co-owner and eventually starting his own ‘Spiritual Life’ label enforcing that quality soulful dance music had a definite future. His legendary New York party Body&Soul is now considered one of the most influential dance music parties in history and he continues to travel the world supporting and nurturing the music he loves.

Alongside him is the underground soulful king of the UK, 1Xtra's Benji B, delivering his unique and awe inspiring course of high calibre music. Blending tunes of sublimity, whether it is broken beat, hip-hop, house, garage, jazz, soul or Detroit techno. Starting off Rap Saunders will endeavour to get you moving as he did from the very beginning of Need2Soul’s Key parties.

Sharing the headline in room 2 will be a European house DJ who never fails to fully represent the best deep house available, Steffen www.innercityvisions.com/">"Dixon" Berkhahn. A legend in his own right, Dixon has for the past decade insured the existence of a first-class house culture with his residencies in Berlin, productions, and the creation of Sonar Kollectiv sub label, Innervisions. In 1998 Dixon and Jazzanova became acquainted, which created a powerful movement in music and house as we know it. He played A&R to Sonar Kollektiv and introduced them to the music of Frank and Kristian (Âme) who have become their best selling artists. Starting his label ‘Innervisions’ in 2005, was a great turning point in strength for the German house scene. Their second release, ‘Rej’ by Âme is already an absolute classic and has paved a definitive path for the future of outstanding releases from a collective of visionaries, including Marcus Worgull and Chateau Flight.

To rev Dixon up Ben Chapman’s finely tuned ear will be selecting only the very best to get the room moving. Warming down, James Priestley from his pioneer dance party secretsundaze, makes a guest appearance.

To celebrate the last ever Need2Soul at The Key, we have a pair of tickets to give away. All you need to do is answer the following question and the tickets could be yours.

Who will be playing alongside Dixon and James Priestley in Room 2? Is it:

A) Joe Claussell
