Before you start flexing your fingers for a guitar strumming session, think again. The signed guitar we have up for grabs is a miniature collector's item. The little beast is as cute as pie - and fit for a prime position in your display cabinet.
For the chance to win the signed guitar, all you need to do is tell us the most memorable concert / show or gig you have ever been to.
Leave your memories in the comments section. Make sure you include your correct email address during the comment submission process so that we can contact you if you are the lucky winner.
Good luck... let those event-going memories FLOW. This competition closes at 5pm January 1st 2008. The winner will be chosen based on the quality (and impressive yarn-spinning nature) of their entry.

The greatest gig I ever attended was the clash at Cardiff, absolutely superb just as London calling was being released. The Clash were at the height at the time with strummers caustic vocals and mean telecaster playing together with the most poignant lyrics since the Beatles, stunning, vibrant with a back drop that depicted the album, you have heard the term electric atmosphere, well this was it.Future gigs such as Pink Floyd, David Bowie,REM did not come close. Tracks included rock the Kasbah; daddy was a bank robber, London’s calling, Brand new Cadillac, Spanish bombs. This is cliché, but you had to be there. The crowd went wild; they knew they were witnessing something very special. Cans of beer flying everywhere did not put anyone off certainly not me. The crowd at the time were partisan Welsh, but accepted me as an English fan, what a night. The greatest post punk tour ever. What an ensemble, the only thing to come close was the Smiths at Manchester
Cheers Ste

The most memorable concert ive ever been to was the Nickelback concert in Ottawa. The smell of drugs filled the air, and a woman even took off her shirt. It was an amazing spectacle to see my favourite band live.

The most memorable show i went to was a concert in which Thrice, Thursday, and Coheed and Cambria played. It was QUITE a time. I was back in 10th or 11th grade.
I went with two of my best friends. First thing we noticed right off the bat was when waiting in line, everyone was DIFFERENT from us -- not different in a bad way, but everyone looked so EMO and we did not! We made friends with some guys in front of us. It turns out that one of the guys was the ex-boyfriend of one of my friend's close friends. In we all went to the concert. My second concert ever, and i must say, what an experience!
So as young underage boys at the time, we did what most young underage boys would try to do: scam beer off the bar. So we headed over to the bar, me trying desperately to comb what little facial hair i had at the time in order to look that much older. It didn't work. Me, having more testosterone in my system than my two friends (which explains not only my bravery but also the facial hair), was the first one to walk towards the bar. I put on my million-dollar smile and started a swagger that said, "Hey, look at me, i'm old enough to drink!" I stood right in front of the bar, staring into the eyes of this GORGEOUS barkeep, and the first thing she said was...
"No."
Damn, what made it so obvious?! It could have been the acne still on my face, to this day i'm not sure. Thank god that acne is long gone! So we sat down, enjoying Coheed's live set. Man, that Claudio had some wild hair.
Every now and then we'd try a "Hey Mister..." and you guessed it, after each time we ended the same as we had begun: empty handed.
So after a while, we just gave up and enjoyed the show. THRICE finally came on! It was time for us to enjoy this show by sneaking onto the main floor!
So we started a splinter-cell like dash to the stairs. It was on our way where we saw our emo friends from outside. They were with that gorgeous bartender and one of her friends. And the girls were laying on the table, shirts up, tequila in their bellybuttons, salt and lime all around. You guessed it: these guys were getting body shots from these perfect-10 girls!
At that moment i decided that i was to become emo as well. It seemed to work with the ladies!
After a quick hey, we finally did go down those stairs, straight into the mosh pit, where my eye went straight into a mosher girl's elbow. Atleast, that's what i like to think. It was her elbow that actually met my eye.
I did enjoy the rest of the concert, though. Thrice didn't live up to what i expected, but Thursday rocked the show. I bought a Thrice t-shirt and went home, black eye and all. What a concert.

That would be Daphne and Celeste at the Reading festival in 2000. I'm not a fan (and they were no good!) but the site of these two obnoxious Americans giggling about being drenched in warm Apple Juice (it came hurtling in from stage, left) was hilarious. For the record, it was definitely warm, it just wasn't apple juice....

My most memorable concert was Aztec Camera in Manchester many years ago in 1985 (I think). I was an uber fan and managed to buy the first 3 tickets for me, my best mate and my brother. We were right at the front and I was desperate to touch Roddy Frame. The poor man just looked at me as I madly tried to grope his brown cords and touch his leg. There was a real crush to get to the front and I didn't know till after the concert that my brother had fainted and been carried off by St. John's Ambulance. He'd missed most of the concert - wimp. I had a travel bag stashed under my seat as I was staying over at my mate's. At the end I went to find it and the contents were strewn everywhere. My mate walked off, she was so embarressed, as I was scrabbling about on the floor in a load of cotton wool.

The best concert i have ever been too was the Gogol Bordello a few weeks ago. They were so energetic and just kept going, not only that but they stayed on stage for over 2 hours and the crew couldn't get them off. Brilliant music, brilliant atmosphere!

Best concert ever- tough choice, perhaps Xavier Rudd live at the Port Fairy Folk Festival in Australia, before he became really famous, I sat on a plastic chair some two meters from stage in a venue that probably only held 150 people, Doesn't get much better than that!!!

Muse at Wembley Stadium summer 2007. They played the opening gig and it was out of this world. I hadn't been to a gig for ages, and Muse were sssooo good that I've been to loads since, but nothing comes anywhere near to beating them!
