"If you were set loose in a Gibson Guitar showroom, what would you come out with?"
When Australian Roots and Blues artist Ash Grunwald showed up at our London offices, we were struck down by his easy going nature and Southern Hemisphere induced tan. Amidst the city bustle, there stood a calm, dreadlocked figure with a grin that'd knock the socks of a Cheshire Cat. His smile widened further when we took him up to Gibson guitar heaven to select his 'weapons of choice'…
What followed was an interview with an Aussie icon surfing the tail-end of a European tour. After a series of gigs supporting The Cat Empire, Ash had loads to say about his tour-mates, surfing, busking and Belgian beer. He also treated us to an exclusive live performance.
