Radiohead Tickets on sale today!
At 10am this morning, tickets went on sale for Radioheads 2008 tour. They are worth more than gold dust will you get a piece of the action?
Its doubtful Lily Allen will be first in line after she was quoted branding their pay what you want album release methods as Arrogant.
Her comments obviously had no effect on the Oxford band. Two days before the on-sale of the 2008 tour tickets, Radiohead reaffirmed their decision to release In Rainbows as a free download on their website:
its been the most positive thing weve done and we hope you shared the experience with others.
Weve all heard the story by now; ten days before the release of their album, Johnny Greenwood (Radioheads guitarist) posted a short note on the Internet informing fans that the new album would be available to download (and download only). Collective gasp number one was followed by a second shock announcement; fans could choose how much to pay for their purchase. But you knew that already right?
So, as the aftermath dies down and the Radiohead tour approaches, the question is not How much did you pay?. Rather, Will you be there?
Yes, the excitement building up to the live shows proves why this is one of the most talked about bands of 2007. After seven albums, Radiohead are still the iconic and authentic band they were in 92 when Creep ripped its way through the airwaves. Great bands are best seen live and downloads dont last forever. From the 10th Dec, In Rainbows will no longer be available to download. You can buy the album from Dec 31st onwards, but by then youll have your tunes and your gig tickets, wont you?
Radiohead have two dates scheduled for Victoria Park, London, one date in Manchester and one date in Glasgow.
Get your Radiohead tickets ASAP.
