This single is taken from the band’s debut album, which entered the UK album charts in August at number 13. Like their first, this single reached Number One in the Billboard Singles chart in the US, and the album sold 3 million copies over there. Fronted by American Idol runner up, Chris Daughtry, this band is very much in the American Bon Jovi tradition and offers nothing innovative or new. I love Americana, but this one left me cold; and I really don’t think there is a very big market for this in the UK right now. So prove me wrong, if you like your stateside rock well performed but with no surprises, this is for you.
