Backstage Pass: Music fans unite... take a sneak peek at what goes on beyond the mosh pit.

Free Radiohead gig in London TODAY!

radiohead_001810_1_MainPicture.jpgQuick! Drop your bagel, abandon your paperwork and get your behind down to Rough Trade East shop on Brick Lane. Radiohead are in town and a select few hard-core fans have the opportunity to see them live. It'll be intimate, it'll be monumental and the numb bum cheeks will be worth it. Imagine it... how would it feel to wake up tomorrow and to tell your mates that you spent an intimate night of song with the mighty Thom Yorke and co.

If you're willing to 'wait it out' amongst the masses - here's the essential info:

- The band will perform a “short set of ’In Rainbows’ material”.
- The show is very limited free entry, first come first served.
- A numbering system will be in action whereby people at the front of any queue take a break for snacks and toilet breaks in the store.
- Doors are set to open at 7pm (GMT) with the band expected to play at 8pm.
- There will be screens and speakers outside and it will be webcast.
- A link for the webcast will appear on Radiohead.com later today.

We're off to seal our spot in the line. Prepare those bladders for some torture... there's a long wait ahead.

Radiohead let us all down yesterday. No queuing system - so many pushed in front of us that the numbers swelled and although we were 'well in' at 1.30pm, by 5.30pm the queue in front had doubled due to people pushing in. We were also told to go home at 5.30pm and that there would be no screens. So we get home and find they moved to a bigger venue where some more fans were let in. Well, not the ones who had waited 4 hrs in the cold. Nice one, Radiohead!
