The guy with THAT name has an announcement to make... we don't know if it's genius, brave or just plain mad!
We've just heard the news that Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is set to play a series of gigs and record tracks for a forthcoming acoustic album from fans' houses in January. Yep, that means you lot. Get out the hoover, throw out the old pizza boxes and roll your nanna and her wheelchair into the garage... there's a muso a-comin'!
Seven lucky competition winners will each win an intimate acoustic gig from the 21 year old solo artist, who will perform songs from his forthcoming second album 'Searching For The Hows And Whys' in their houses, in front of an audience of friends and family.
Each gig will be recorded and the tracks will be released officially later in the year as a live acoustic album. That essentially means that competition winners (and their nannas) will play a part in the making of the record.
The gigs will take place from 22nd January to 1st February and the competition is available to fans anywhere in the UK.
To enter, fans should send their name, address and contact telephone number to competitions@atlanticrecords.co.uk with the email subject line 'Get Cape In My Living Room '.
Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly's second album 'Searching For The Hows And Whys' is released on 3rd March 2008 on Atlantic Records.
His new single 'Find The Time' is out on the 25th February.
