So you've practised your chords and perfected your moves and still you haven't played on stage to thousands of screaming fans. Your hair is greased with just the right amount of grime but even the bevy of buxom blondes you bed every night doesn't class you as a Rock Star.. yet.
Playing live with Dave Grohl and co. however, could change things forever.
Unsigned instrumentalists have been given the chance to strutt their stuff about on stage with the Foo Fighters at this year's Grammy Awards. The My Grammy Moment competition is a big 'un. You know you want to win it. The catch is, you have to be a string, woodwind or brass player to enter. Who said guitars were the epitome of cool hey?
Masters of the art are invited to submit a 60-second performance video on YouTube to the tune of Foo Fighters' Grammy-nominated song 'The Pretender'. Submissions must be made by the January 20 deadline.
The winner will perform with the Foo Fighters in Los Angeles at the Grammy Awards broadcast on February 10. The winner of last year's competition performed onstage with Justin Timberlake.
