Interview by Katie Spain
You know what; I think I must be turning into a Nana about fifty-years too early. When I met UK Pop/Rock band Go:Audio in London recently I went all 'wrinkly gaga'. No, they weren't Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp-like, but they were sweet. So nice in fact, I wanted to pinch their cheeks and make them jelly like my Nan used to do before life sent her packing. But bands don't like being called "Sweet" right? They want to be dirty, scruffy, piss-heads with a chip on their shoulder and a load of arrogance up their collective rectums. Luckily, Go:Audio are none of the above... their trainers are still in contact with the earth's surface and they've hit the ground running with a tour supporting Scouting For Girls. Their mix of Pop, Rock and Techno won't be for everyone but if you like multi-layered Rock you can dance to, you're in for a treat.
During a recent chat with the lads, we talked tours, Elvis, getting slaughtered on Valentine's Day and the incident that lead to bandmate Zack's excruciating pain and absence from our interview and a number of gigs. The music world could do with a few more nice lads. Let's just see if they're still so pleasant this time next year.
