INTERVIEW: Morcheeba

Did you know that sea otters keep a pebble under their armpit and use it to crack open shellfish? What happens when you eat loads of magic mushrooms before a flight towards a big gig at the Hollywood Bowl? A short chat with Morcheeba's Ross Godfrey is certainly an enlightening affair.

When we caught up with the guitarist at the band's South London recording studio, he was attempting to sink balls in a game of pool. As we juggled interview and pool table, the result was a lengthy chat about the welfare of marine life, the MySpace sourced talent on their new album and the behavioural traits of the sea otter. He also enlightened us on the day he nearly crapped his pants on stage in front of the E Street band. But that my dears, is another story...
