Depending on what you’re in to, The Secret Handshake could be the very thing that you are looking for. I’m not convinced that it’s our kind of thing, but it will undoubtedly get some of you going.
Secret Handshake is Luis Dubuc. He makes colourful yet almost soulful Indie/Pop tunes that are cut with a loose Electro vibe.
Like so many other bands and musicians these days, the internet – and MySpace in particular - has been a great help in launching and maintaining The Secret Handshake’s career. It helped amass enough fans to sell out the London Barfly – the perfect place for a sweaty Electro fuelled gig, where the sound drips off the wall alongside various other grimy substances.
The new single, Gamegirl, is out March 17th.
