The Wombats

This summer, Gaymers cider is proud to present a series of must see, money-can’t-buy music performances by some of the UK’s hottest acts.

Featuring bands packed full of English character, Gaymers Grassroots Gigs will see The Futureheads, Young Knives, Mystery Jets and the Wombats return to their hometown roots and perform exclusive sets to small crowds at intimate venues, back where all the magic began.

Each performance offers music fans the chance to see these established acts in the humble surroundings of the pub, club or venue that used to be part of their regular gig circuit, as they strived to make a mark on the music scene. With each band having new or recently released albums, the Gaymers Grassroots Gigs are guaranteed to mix eclectic new tracks with a collection of well loved and established anthems.

With three of the four gigs done and dusted, the spectacular climax to Gaymers Grassroots Gigs will take place in Liverpool with a special set by local boys The Wombats. The band is a regular on the music and since meeting at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2003, they regularly play massive venues such as Liverpool's Anfield Stadium. Liverpool legend Sir Paul McCartney is also a big fan and has expressed an interest in producing their music in future.

Tickets for this intimate gig at a secret venue are strictly limited and Gaymersmusic.com is one of the only places where you can get your hands on a must-have ticket for a musical experience you’ll never forget!

If you fancy heading off to see The Wombats back in their hometown of Liverpool on Tuesday 17th June, simply answer the following question:
