Got a question for Gavin Rossdale?

He may well be married to the hottest woman in the world, but there's more to Gavin Rossdale than dog walking and an ex band by the name of Bush. If you missed them band during the 90s you were either stuck in the middle of the Sahara or you just turned a blind eye.
Mr Rossdale has now hit the solo road and is on the verge of releasing his debut album, Wanderlust, which is released on the 9th June. His debut single, Now That Youve Gone was released on the 2nd June.
Next week, we'll interview Gavin and want you Gavin obsessives to send in your burning questions. Put them in the comments section and we'll ask the best ones. Get creative... the man won't want to answer the same old crap.

Hey Gavin, I love you voice and music ever since i heard Bush for the first time! I've always loved your photos, but have noticed you rarely smile on them, so I was wondering what makes you smile and if your ticklish and where? LOL Lots of luck with the new album!

Hey Gavin, I'm wondering if any of the songs on the new album were inspired by Gwen and your life together, or even if you've dedicated any of them to her?

People are always commenting on how relaxed and normal you and your family are(Gwen & Kingston), How do you go about not letting stardom go to your head?

Okay, so in a recent interview; you said that you check your myspace and respond to your fans, has there been anyone recently that made you smile or someone that you will remember?

Hey Gavin,
Recently Billy Corgan resurrected the Smashing Pumpkins with only one other original member, drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. I was wondering if you would ever consider resurrecting Bush without all of the original members. Good luck with the new album and great show in NYC!!!

Hey Gavin,
It seems rock radio is beginning to make a come back. Bush songs along with other staples of the grunge era seem to be getting more air play now than they have in years. Do you think it's nostalgia or something more?

Hey Gav,
Just wondering if you would ever consider becoming the new singer for Velvet Revolver. And speaking of VR, ever party with Scott Weiland?

Hey Gav, is there anything you wish you had done differently in your career and is there a song or album you would like to be remembered most for?

Hi Gavin! Thank you for years of amazing music. What have you learned from becoming a father, and how do you incorporate those ideas into your musical career?

Hey Gavin. I've been a very big fan of both Bush and Institute. I loved the albums from both those bands and especially the Institute one. Every time I hear Bullet Proof Skin , I just melt. Here's my question. When you did the new album did you draw from some of the old stuff that you did with Bush and Institute when you made the songs? Well that's all I wanted to ask. I plan on getting the new album ASAP. Love the music Keep Rocking. Faith.

1) Which band inspired him to play and what are his best memories of Bush?
2) Did he feel he had a duty to offer a rock alternative to the surge of indie bands in Britain in the 1990's?
3) Is the internet good for music? Does he think with the recent problems at major records labels bands are better off self releasing?
4) A lot of Bush's lyrics were very political, does he think bands are too afraid to say what they really think anymore?
and finally...
5) He said in a TV interview that his gig at Newcastle University on the Science of things tour was a gig that really stood out.
I was there that night and it is the best live performance I have ever seen in my life. Does he remember the crowd all taking over the stage? It was like going back to Punk Rock.

Gavin, It's 1996 and it's pouring down raining. They shut down the spring break show because it's not safe, and right before you walk out on stage for what could have been your "last show".. What were you feeling or thinking at that very moment?

Hey Gavin love the new record I listened to it like 8 times the day I bought it!! Thank you for making music I've been a fan for about 14 years!! Loved the Institute record I was bummed that it didn't do well 'cause I think it was great! One of my favorite songs on the record is "Another night at the hills" and I was wondering if it would be released as a single and have a music video for it!! Thank you and I can't wait to see you when you come to Canada (Toronto area). Keep on rockin' like you always do!
P.S. Love your voice!!

LOL hey, somebody already asked my question! I've always wondered what makes Gavin laugh and where he's ticklish, too! Good question, Josephine ;) I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'd ask him... I mean, he's never been asked that question for sure, right ;) Gav and Bush rock!

In the Wanderlust thank you notes, you mention airplanes, accidents, perfect moments, delays, detours, surprises and extreme weather. The accidents bit sounds particularly interesting - can you enlighten us?

There was an interview with you in this week's NME mag. They were known to slate Bush in their heyday and seemed keen to talk about your dog walking more than the music. Is there much love lost with those guys? Do critics hurt?

LUV U G,
Does it ever annoy you when at gigs, fans sing your songs aloud and seem to overpower your singing?
Is it a bit irritating when fans ask you for autographs or pictures ,or when fans take pics and video of you at your shows and then put them on Youtube?

Gavin,
Congratulations on you getting your solo record once and for all. Do you think this record is less edgy due to less people like, band members influencing each song. Also were you at all worried what BUSH and Institute fans were going to think of it after is was all said and done, or were you more like "this is Gavin Rossdale 2008 take it or leave it".
Your a ROCKER!!! Thanks
,Ryan

Gavin,
Thank you for coming back to us! We have truly missed you and your amazing music!

hey Gavin. What I wanted to ask you was, can you pinpoint in time when you made the transition between the darker, grungier imagery and sound to your recent, positive and heartwarming stuff, and whether it was brought on by something other than marrying and having a kid? Btw I saw you at Nova and you were great! Liviu

1. You have been in a few movies now (and should have larger roles), what character was your favourite?
2. Does travelling to different countries (like last year for Gwen's tour) give you fresh ideas for songs? Besides England and US, what other countries would you love to stay at for a while?

Having had such a international impact in music i was wondering which countries you thought were the best to tour. Was it craziest in brazil, were the people more often friendly in Canada, does germany have the most women willing to sleep with you? The album is golden by the way, thanks.
