INTERVIEW: Taio Cruz

When we settled down with Taio Cruz on the couch for a second time, we had fan questions on the mind and he had... well, sunglasses!
After a successful UK tour, the solo star and producer is enjoying the fruits of his labour with the release of his new album 'Departure'. Singles 'Come On Girl', 'I Can Be' and more recently, 'She's Like A Star' have been well received and with mates like his, it looks like the 24-year old is on the way to big things.
He's just announced a one-off support slot with Ne-Yo at the Hammersmith Apollo and counts Simon Cowell as a fan. Yep, the X-meister said so himself and has enlisted Taio to work Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward. Cruz is also working with US producer Jim Beanz, on new music for Britney, Brandy and Justin Timberlake. Chuck a bit of writing for Anastasia’s new album and contributions to the Sugababes’ next album and you've got yourself a busy man. Did we mention he likes sunglasses?
Luckily, he sat still enough for a natter about all things musical. The questions were sent in to us by his fans. Don't say we don't look after you lucky sods! Now where did we put those sunglasses?
