The King Blues
My Boulder
Release date: October 13th
Review by Jamie Stangroom
Hailing from London Jonny Fox (AKA Itch), Jamie Jazz and Fruitbag are the driving force behind my new favorite band; The King Blues.
If you have no idea who The King Blues are or youve just heard whispers of their work then new single My Boulder is probably the best way of summing up what the Reggae-tinged Punk heads are all about. Following on from the raucous Lets Hang The Landlord, this is the second single to be released from forthcoming album Save The World. Get The Girl. I love this tune, its amazing and I can only imagine that it would be pretty special played live. Like a less celtic Dropkick Murphys; The King Blues blend Folk, Punk and Ska to a brutally good effect. My Boulder is an anthem in the making.
